Matcha recipe for delicious Matcha squares from the Matcha Magic recipes blog

Bake cookies with matcha tea

Dear Matcha friend, as the pre-Christmas period is known to be the time to bake cookies, we have created a recipe for Matcha cookies for you. As always, kept simple and delicious!

You need the following ingredients:

  • 300g wheat flour
  • 3 yolks
  • 200g butter
  • 100g sugar or coconut blossom sugar
  • 1-2 tbsp matcha tea

Preparation:

First, you have to preheat the oven to 180 degrees circulating air. Then you put the flour, sugar and matcha powder in a bowl and add the chopped butter. Now you knead a firm dough so that all ingredients are well mixed. Now you wrap the dough in cling film and put it in the fridge for half an hour. Then you can roll out the dough and cut it out with molds of your choice.

It then has to be in the oven for about ten minutes. Finally, depending on your taste, decorate with chocolate, icing, sugar pearls and green marzipan, for example. Finished!

By the way, ours are best for baking Matcha X and our Matcha Zen.

Have fun baking and snacking!
