Matcha cheesecake recipe with a delicious biscuit base

Matcha recipe from Matcha Magic - Matcha cheesecake with biscuit base from the Matcha Magic recipes blog

Today there is a new Matcha recipe for you to bake! Whereby this delicious Matcha cheesecake does not need to be baked :)

Ingredients

200 gr shortbread biscuits

50 grams of butter

300 g cream cheese

200 ml of cream

2 tablespoons of lemon juice

65 g sugar

3 teaspoons of matcha (Matcha X or Zen)

Method

We'll start with the floor first. To do this, first chop up the biscuits. The best way to do this is to put the cookies in a freezer bag and crush them with a rolling pin. The crumbled biscuits must then be mixed with the melted butter and pressed into a cake pan (lined with parchment paper). Now put the cake pan in the refrigerator.

Now let's focus on the crowd. First mix the matcha powder with a little cream cheese and only then add the rest of the cream cheese. In the next step you have to mix this mass with sugar and lemon juice until you get a smooth cream. To give the cream a fluffy consistency, whip the cream until frothy and carefully fold it into the cream cheese mixture.

Finally, take the cheesecake base out of the refrigerator, pour the mixture into the mold and distribute it. Then let it rest in the refrigerator for at least two hours.

Have fun baking!
